Historical Research Center

We are a branch library within the Rutherford County Library System. We focus on local history and genealogy research. The HRC is located inside of the Rutherford County Archives. Our books range in subjects from Rutherford County specific to other states across the United States. Along with our book collection, we have a collection of microfilm and periodicals. The HRC has multiple scanners to assist in scanning historic documents and photographs. We have access to Ancestry Library Edition, Newspapers.com, and we are a FamilySearch Affiliate Library.
